PHCU - Cycle Count Update

New features added, version 7.5.2

See Also Programs

Program PHCU, Cycle Count Update, is used to update the "on hand" inventory for each item location counted during a count cycle.

The counts are originally entered and maintained with program PHCE, Cycle Count Entry/Maintenance. They can be listed before the update with program PHDJ, Cycle Count Deviation Journal. After the update, the new data can be listed and compared to the old data with program PHVR, Cycle Count Valuation Report.

The update is run for one batch at a time. Only those batches with your manufacturing enterprise and plant code can be selected. The uncounted tags must be zero before the update can be run.

If the PH_POST_ALL_COUNTS parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance, is set to Y, an item transaction log record will be written for all counted items, including those for which the system quantity and the inventory quantity are equal. Otherwise, item transaction log records will only be written for items for which an adjustment is required.
