Program MUPG, Printer Group Definitions, is used to enter printer groups. Printer groups are user-defined groups to which printers can be assigned. For example, a printer group may consist of the printers that are in a specific department.

To delete a printer group, the printer and users that have been assigned to the printer group must first be unassigned.

Entering Printer Groups

1. Enter the printer group identifier and description. Press [Commit].

2. Press the [Printers] button.

3. Enter the printers from program MUPM, Printer Definition Maintenance, that belong to this group. Printers can belong to more than one printer group.

4. Press [Commit]. Return to the main page.

5. Press the [Users] button.

6. Oracle Users assigned to the printer group can be viewed with the [Users] button. Oracle Users are assigned to printer groups in program MUSC, User Security Maintenance.
