Program ICRC, Inventory Replenishment, is used to determine when shipping locations should be replenished from other locations, using the sales allocations for the item. Depending on the setting in program ILPM, Plant Code Maintenance, for the Batch Ship Method pop-list, the program will consider either the item's backflush or default location.
When set to From Backflush Location, or From Default or Backflush Location, the program will consider the on hand quantity for the item in the item's backflush location defined in program ICEM, Item Plant Maintenance.
When set to From Default Location or From Any Shippable Location, the program will consider the on hand quantity for the item in the item's default location defined in program ICEM, Item Plant Maintenance.
Quantities in staging locations are not considered when replenishing inventory.
Open move tickets for the item and location are also considered before new move tickets are created.
Controlled items cannot be processed in this program.
For items with a Target Stock Qty field in program ICEM, Item Plant Maintenance, the target stock quantity is added to the move quantity calculated for each item. The target stock quantity is the quantity that should remain in the To Location' after the moves have been completed and the allocations have been fulfilled.
When an item's quantity on hand in the default or backflush location is less than the sales allocations for the item, the item will be displayed in this program so that the inventory can be replenished in the necessary location.
Inventory moves are made in case quantities from the item planning settings in program ICPM, Inventory Planning Data Maintenance.
1. On the Parameters Tab, set the selection parameters for the inventory to be replenished.
Set the Bin Priority
pop-list to the desired setting.
When set to Oldest Date, the "from" item location is selected
according to the date assigned to the eligible locations. Item locations
with the oldest dates are selected first.
When set to Smallest Quantity, the "from" location is selected
according to the smallest quantity in the eligible locations.
Set the Include Mfg Alloc flag to the desired setting. If this option is selected and a component item has a backflush location, manufacturing allocations will be used to generate a move ticket to replenish the backflush location. If the item also has sales allocations, they will be used to replenish the primary bin location (Current Functionality.) Sales Allocations will take priority over manufacturing allocations. If this option is selected and a component item does not have a backflush location, both sales and manufacturing allocations will be used to replenish the primary bin location.
Set the Exclude Sales on Hold flag to the desired setting. When set to on, the allocation calculation only includes sales orders that are not currently on hold.
Set the Scavenge
Mode flag to the desired setting.
When set to on, the program
will move all remaining inventory from a location that does not have
a full case in it. If additional moves are necessary to fulfill the
sales allocations in the shipping location, they will be made for
a full case quantity. In the case where the location quantity is greater
than the case quantity, but less than the quantity required, the full
location quantity is moved.
When set to off, only full
case quantities will be moved from locations.
In the Allocation Horizon Days field, enter the number of calendar days in the future to consider sales order lines as allocations, based on the sales order line due date. If this quantity is left at 0, all sales orders are included in the allocation.
