Program GRTM, Generic Report Transmit Maintenance, is used to set up and transmit reports on demand. Reports must have the drill down definition set up in program UTKM, Maintain Drill Down Keys, before they can be set up for on demand transmission.
1. In the Drilldown Rpt field, enter the name of the report that you are setting up for transmission.
2. In the Custom Key field, enter the custom key for this report, if desired.
The custom key field is for user defined data and is not required. It is only necessary if custom code will be written to use the data set up in GRTM for transmitting reports in batch mode.
For example, if the customer wanted to set up some report to be emailed to specific people after OESB has been run, they could enter a custom key of OESB so their custom code would know which reports to transmit.
3. In the Key1 to Key5 fields, enter the values that will be passed to this report's drill down keys when the report is generated before being transmitted.
The keys must be entered in the same order as they were listed in the drill down definition for the report in program UTKM, Maintain Drill Down Keys. The parameter name will be displayed in the message bar at the bottom of the screen.
4. In the Send To field, enter the email address or fax number to which this report will be sent.
5. In the Copy To field, enter an additional email address to which this report will be sent.
6. If Printer is selected, the report will print to the printer entered in the Ovrd Printer field in MUJM, Menu & Job Parameter Maintenance.
7. In the pop-list, select the send type. Choices are Printer, Fax, File or Email
8. Press Commit.
9. Press the [Run] button to generate and transmit the report.
