Program CMXM, Tax Exemption Matrix Maintenance, is used to add, maintain, and delete tax exemption matrices.
These tax exemption matrices are created by assigning product codes from program IPCM, Product Code Maintenance, to tax exemption groups from program CMGM, Tax Exemption Group Maintenance.
A tax exemption group can be assigned to a customer record in program CMMM, Customer Master Maintenance. When an order is entered for an item with a product code tied to a tax exemption group assigned to the order customer, the default tax flag is set to off, overriding the Taxable flag in program ICSM, Inventory Sales Data Maintenance.

The program starts in Query mode.
1. The program opens in query mode. Enter the exemption code for which you wish to maintain the matrix and press [Execute Query].
2. In the lower block, enter the product code to be assigned to the exemption code.
3. Press [Commit].
