Program CMSP, Store Special Price Maintenance, is used to establish and maintain store special prices for automatic special pricing during sales order entry.
In order for a store special price to be used, a price group must be created for the store in program CMPM, Customer Price Group Maintenance, in the form of [SP]UUUPP where the UUU is the manufacturing enterprise code and PP is the store code. For example, [SP]20010.
The concept behind the store special price is that an inventory item or sales group of items can be assigned a special price that will be offered to all customers at this store during sales order entry if the order quantity falls between the specified minimum and maximum quantities. These special prices can be offered for specified periods and can include an additional discount. If a customer buys a quantity that falls within the quantity range for that item, the specified price and discount will be displayed automatically during sales order entry, where it can be accepted or changed.
Item price groups are established with program ICSM, Inventory Sales Data Maintenance. These groups must already exist before they can be used for a store special price.
The list price is used in conjunction with the discount percent for automatic pricing during sales order entry. The three separate fields indicate the period to which the prices apply. Current prices apply now, last prices are the previous prices, and next prices apply when you make them current. Next prices are made current on the second page of the program.
The margin percent is used in conjunction with the discount percent for automatic pricing during sales order entry. Margin percentages must be less than 100.

It is not recommended that all three pricing methods (list price, margin percentage, and discount) be used on the same item for the same customer.
You must [Execute Query] upon entering the program to display existing special prices.
