Program CMPM, Customer Price Group Maintenance, is used to add and maintain customer price group records. Customer price groups must be created with this program before they can be used in program CMPC, Price Matrix Maintenance.
Customer price groups are assigned to customers in program CMMM, Customer Master Maintenance.
Customer price groups are used with item price groups to determine default pricing during sales order entry.
If you are using manufacturing enterprise special pricing, you must create a customer price group in the format [SP]UUU, where UUU is the manufacturing enterprise code. For example, [SP]200.
If you are using store special pricing, you must create a customer price group in the format [SP]UUUPP, where UUU is the manufacturing enterprise code and PP is the store code, for example, [SP]20010.
To display existing customer price groups, press [Execute Query] upon entering the program.
1. Press [New Record].
2. Enter the price group name.
3. Enter the price group description.
4. Press [Commit].
