In the Explorer Tree, select the Template Information object.
There are options in creating a converter template at this point.
Right-click on the Template Information object, hold your cursor over the Create option, and when the sub-menu is displayed, left click on the Template option.
Left-click on the [Wizard] 
button in the Main Toolbar.
Left-click on the File Menu. Left-click on the New option. Left-click on the Wizard option.
Press Alt+W on the keyboard.
The Creating an Entity screen will be displayed.
Select the Converter entity type by left-clicking on the Converter radio button.
Click on the Next button on the bottom right of the screen.
In the Entity Name field, enter the desired name for the converter template.
In the Datasource pop-list, select the desired datasource or (use default).
Selecting (use default) will allow the converter template to be used with any datasource, and data brought in will be determined by the user's datasource.
In the Based On pop-list,select the template on which the new converter template will be based. Any mutable blocks assigned to the converter template selected will be copied to the new converter template. Select (NONE) to create a template that is not based on any other template.
Leave the Default Mode pop-list, set to Execute Convert. There is only one mode for converter entities.
Click on the Next button on the bottom right of the screen.
The Adding New Block screen will be displayed.

In the Explorer Tree, expand the Template Information object and select the template converter entity that you wish to modify.
Display the converter entity properties.
These will either be displayed in Alphabetical
or Logically, depending on the setting of the [Sort Alphabetically/Logically]
button. The following instructions are assuming
that the properties are sorted logically.
In the Name property, the name that you entered when creating the template is displayed. It can be changed, if desired.
In the Description property, enter a user-defined description for this template. The default is the type of template followed by the template name. (i.e. Convert:TEMPLATE)
The datasource that you selected when creating the template will be displayed. It can be changed, if desired.
If set to (default), the default for the user's log in will be used when this screen is displayed.
In the Allow Anonymous pop-list, select true if anonymous users should have access to this template. Select false if anonymous users should not have access to this template. This is the default setting for converters created from this template.
The Inherits From pop-list displays the template from which this template was created, grayed out. This value cannot be changed.
The Default Mode pop-list is set to Execute Convert. There is only one mode for converter entities.
In the Before Save property, enter any code that should be run before any saves are executed on this template. The code entered here should be written in SQL. This is the default setting for converters created from this template.
In the After Save property, enter any code that should be run immediately after any saves are executed on this template. The code entered here should be written in SQL. This is the default setting for converters created from this template.
In the Results Disposition property, only Return to Caller can be selected.
The Created on property displays the date and time on which the converter template was created and cannot be changed.
The Modified on property displays the date and time on which the converter template was last changed and cannot be modified.
When all changes have been made,
press the [Save] 
button in the Main Toolbar.
