Report Functionality

Xephr® reports are generated in pdf format, and are opened from the menu or from links on other entities. Reports can have a parameter form to define restrictions for the generated output.

To run a report, click on the link that runs the report, located on a menu or other entity.

Report Parameter Forms

The report parameter form is a screen that allows users to restrict the information returned from the database on the report by entering information on this form before the database is accessed. Report parameter forms generally have one or more fields into which data can be entered, and button or link that runs the report..

Enter the desired data into the fields, and click on the link or button to generate the report. The data displayed on the report will be restricted by the entries on the parameter form.

Reports

The report will be generated and the output displayed in your pdf viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat. Follow the instructions for your pdf viewer to print your report. Depending on the data requested, it may take some time to generate your report. The time to generate the report is counted in the browser window until the report is finished generating and is displayed.
