ILPM, Plant Code Maintenance

Modified to contain the default settings for the Release Steps used when creating or releasing work orders.

Added the Release Steps pop-list. The setting of this pop-list determines whether the default release steps for a work order will be one or two in program WORS, Order Release Selection and program WOEM, Work Order Entry/Maintenance. This is also the default for work orders created from sales order entry.

With the 1-step method, component material is relieved (picked) from inventory balances automatically when the order is released, even if the material is not actually available.

With the 2-step method, the user must run the separate picking program, MRPE, Work Order Pick List Entry, in order to relieve the material from inventory.

Added the 1-step Release Requires Routing flag. When set to on, only items that have a routing will be released using the one step release process. All others will be released with the two-step process, regardless of the setting of the Release Steps flag. When set to off, items are not required to have a routing to be released using the one step release process.

MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance

Added new Config flag to this program. When set to on, this flag indicates that the parameter is a system configuration parameter, and not a user cosmetic parameter (toolbar, window positioning, etc.).

Custom Pricing for Sales Order Lines

When changing a line item quantity, determine the customer price group again for a sales order line before re-pricing the line for the new quantity. This parameter is only used in certain cases of custom pricing.

PROCPRIC_CPG_REFRESH. YES or NO. Set to NO for standard pricing rules.
Set to YES if using custom pricing that requires the customer price group to be determined again when quantities are changed for sales order lines.

Reorder Point Including Non-Nettable and Quarantine Locations

These parameters determine whether the reorder point calculations in program IMRC, Re-Order Point Calculation Management, include non-nettable and quarantine locations.

IMRC_INCL_NON_NET: YES or NO. When set to YES, quantities in non-nettable locations will be considered when calculating reorder point. When set to NO, quantities in non-nettable locations will be excluded when calculating reorder point. Non-nettable locations have the Nettable flag set to off in program ILMM, Location Master Maintenance.

IMRC_INCL_QUARANTINE: YES or NO. When set to YES, quantity is quarantine locations will be considered when calculating reorder point. When set to NO, quantities in quarantine locations will be excluded when calculating reorder point. Quarantine locations have the Quarantine flag set to on in program ILMM, Location Master Maintenance.

Third Party Account Restriction for Customers

Determines whether the third party accounts must be authorized for the vendor in program VESM, Third Party Vendor Maintenance, before they can be assigned to customers in program CMMM, Customer Master Maintenance.

RESTRICT_CMMM_SHIP_ACCTS: YES or NO. When set to YES, only account numbers for which the vendor has been authorized in program VESM, Third Party Vendor Maintenance, can be entered in program CMMM, Customer Master Maintenance

VeriSign™ Variable Setup

Added optional plant code to the VeriSign™ parameters. For example if an order header is for plant 10 and the process needs a parameter for the vendor, it first looks for VERISIGN_10_VENDOR and if this is empty or not found it will then look for VERISIGN_VENDOR.

UTLV, LOV Configuration

Added the OE_PICKLOC list of values ID, used to define the list of values for the stock area field in program OEXP, Fast Order Entry, on the Items tab.

Added functionality for the MOCF_ADD list of values ID, used to define the list of values for the Item No field in program MOCF, Modular Bill Configuration, when adding component items to a modular configuration. If the list of values ID exists here, then it is used. Otherwise, the standard list of values for the field is used.
