New features added, version 7.5.2
Program SPZM, Zip Code Maintenance, is used to add, delete, and maintain zip code records for country codes. This information is copied to program CZMM, Customer / Zip Code Master Maintenance, for the customer lookup by zip code feature.
1. The program opens in query mode.
2. In the Country ID field, enter the country code for which you wish to view and maintain zip code records.
3. Press [Execute Query].
4. All existing zip code records are displayed.
5. To enter a new zip code record, press [New Record].
6. In the Zip Code field, enter the zip code.
7. In the City field, enter the city to which the zip code is assigned.
8. In the State/Province field, enter the state or province to which the zip code is assigned. The state or province code must exist in program SPSM, State/Province Code Maintenance, to be entered here.
9. In the Latitude field, enter the latitude of this zip code. This field is used in the Assigning Dealers to Leads using Proximity feature for program LEMM, Lead Master Maintenance. It is recommended that the latitude be entered with four decimal places.
10. In the Longitude field, enter the longitude of this zip code. This field is used in the Assigning Dealers to Leads using Proximity feature for program LEMM, Lead Master Maintenance. It is recommended that the longitude be entered with four decimal places.
11. In the Area Code field, enter the area code for this zip code.
12. Press [Commit].
