Program SPLM, Labor Code Maintenance, is used to add, delete, and maintain the labor codes for all financial enterprises. Labor codes are required in program LREM, Labor Time Entry, and are used as a selection criterion in labor reports.
The following labor codes are supplied with the standard system:
DI Direct
DN Down
HO Holiday
ID Indirect
IS Inspect
MA Machine
NJ No Work Order
OR Other
RW Rework
SI Sick
ST Setup
VA Vacation
You can create additional codes, but deletion of the standard codes is not recommended since they are used in programs throughout the system.
1. You can modify the description for the labor code.
2. You can set the No Charge flag to the desired setting for the labor code.
* The setting of this flag determines if the code can only be used for no charge entries in program ULEM, Universal Labor Entry.
* If this flag is set to on, labor entries can only be made for the labor code on the No Charge tab of program ULEM, Universal Labor Entry.
* If this flag is set to off, you cannot use this code to enter labor on the No Charge tab of program ULEM, Universal Labor Entry.
3. Press [Commit].
1. Enter the labor code.
2. Enter the code description.
3. Set the No Charge flag to the desired setting for the labor code.
