Program SPKM, Comment Type Code Maintenance, is used to view and maintain the comment type codes that will be included in the List of Values.
Users can enter code types, but code must be written into the programming of the affected programs to support the entries.
The comment type code that will be included in the List of Values is entered in the Code field. The program in which the code is originally entered is entered in the Defined In field. The only programs that should be entered in the Defined In field are program VEMM, Vendor Master Maintenance, program CMMM, Customer Master Maintenance, and program ICMM, Inventory Master Maintenance. The program that will contain the List of Values is entered in the Used In field.
For example, if you want comment type OE from program CMMM, Customer Master Maintenance, to be included in the List of Values for the comment types in program ARIE, One Step Invoice Entry, you would enter OE in the code field, CMMM in the Defined In field, and ARIE in the Used In field.
Any changes made in this program to the comment type codes will only change the List of Values, not the type code.
