Program PORC, Requisition Close, is used to close purchase requisitions and requisition lines.
Before a requisition can be closed, all lines must be closed.
* A requisition line is closed automatically when it is used on a purchase order.
* If the requisition line is not used on a purchase order, it must be closed with this program.
* Requisition lines can be reopened in this program if the requisition header is open, and if the lines have not been assigned to a purchase order.
1. The program opens in query mode. Query the requisitions that you wish to close. Only open and approved requisitions are displayed.
* Only the requisitions that are displayed on the screen will be affected when the [Close All] button is pressed.
2. All requisition lines must be closed before the requisition can be closed. If the requisition has lines that are not closed and will not be used on a purchase order, you can close them in this program. You can do this manually or automatically.
3. To close the requisition lines manually, go to the second page.
* The requisition lines will be displayed.
* To close a requisition line, change the status pop-list to Closed.
* Press [Commit].
* When all requisition lines are closed, return to the first page.
4. You can close requisition lines when the requisition header is closed.
* Set the Automatically Close Any Open/Approved Detail Lines flag to on in the header.
* Press the [Close All] button. All open and approved requisition lines will be closed for the requisitions displayed on the screen. The requisition headers will then be closed.
5. You can close requisition headers for which all lines have been closed.
* Set the Automatically Close Any Open/Approved Detail Lines flag to off in the header. This will prevent the open and approved requisition lines from being closed.
* Press the [Close All] button. All requisition headers for requisitions with closed or voided detail lines will be closed.
Close all requisition headers. If the Automatically Close Any Open/Approved Detail Lines flag is set to on in the header, all open and approved detail lines for the displayed requisitions will be closed first.
