OETM - Maintain Sales Order Tracking

Program OETM, Maintain Sales Order Tracking, is used to track an order as it is filled. This is an optional program.

*        The system automatically tracks some features of the sales order entry process, and these are listed here. Other actions can be manually added to an order here.

*        The program displays information including the date, action, and employee who entered the action. The employee name is displayed in the tracking notes.

*        Sales order tracking can also be maintained with the [Tracking] buttons located in many of the programs.

Maintaining Sales Order Tracking

1. In the lower block, press [New Record].

2. In the Action field, enter the action code. Action codes can be selected from the list of values and are maintained in program OETC, Maintain Order Entry Tracking Codes.

3. In the Employee field, enter the employee number.

*        The employee is verified with employees entered in program LREE, Employee Maintenance.

4. In the Reference field, enter any reference text, if desired.

5. In the unlabeled notes field, enter any tracking notes, if desired.

6. Press [Commit].
