New features added, version 7.5.2
Program OESP, Soft Pegging, is used to display customer orders due for shipment and inventory on hand and production orders that might satisfy the demand created by the customer orders. Production data includes released, rework, planned, and pending orders as well as purchase orders and requisitions. Data is displayed for all types of orders up to a defined number of days in the future.
* The number of days is defined by the ATP_HORIZON_DAYS_PP parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance, where PP is the plant code.
* The default horizon date setting is 42 days (six weeks). If the parameter has not been entered for the plant, or if the parameter value is blank, the system will calculate the available to promise using all types of orders up to 42 days in the future.
The program will display the on hand, on order and committed quantities.
To display the available to promise information, enter an item in the upper block and press the [Calculate] button. The program displays the order number and type to give you the projected on hand values. This includes stock, on hand inventory, purchase orders, and sales orders for the item. Planned orders, pending orders, and requisitions are displayed as potential sources of supply, but they do not increase projected quantity oh hand.
If a customer order includes multiple order lines for the same item, a separate line appears in program OESP, Soft Pegging, for each order line.
You can also view soft pegging information in some programs by pressing the [ATP] button.
1. The program opens in query mode.
2. Enter the desired item number.

4. Press the [Calculate] button.
