Program IPMM, Product Group Matrix Maintenance, is used to add, maintain, and delete product group matrix. A product group matrix is created by assigning product codes from program IPCM, Product Code Maintenance, to a product group from program IPGM, Product Group Maintenance.
Once the product group and product code are entered for an item in program ICMM, Inventory Master Maintenance, the matrix is used in programs throughout the system.
Entering Product Group Matrices
1. Query the product group to which you wish to assign product codes.
2. Go to the lower block.
3. Enter the product code that you wish to assign to the product group.
Product codes can only be assigned to multiple product groups, however a warning will be displayed if this occurs.
4. Press [Commit].
