New program ICDM, Inventory Disassembly Management, is used to disassemble a stocked item, breaking it down into its component items. The component items are selected from the item's bill of material in program BMMM, Bill of Material Maintenance. The upper block defines the item to be disassembled, including the quantity and the bill of material to use. The lower blocks lists the component items for the disassembly item, obtained from the defined bill of material in the header block. These component items can be removed from the list, and additional component items can be added. Once all of the component items are displayed in the lower block, the list is validated and processed. When the disassembly is processed, the quantity of the item in the header is reduced by the quantity to disassemble. Each component item has its quantity increased by the stocked quantity entered in the lower block, and then has its quantity reduced by the entered scrap quantity. Loc Rule pop-list is displayed when the ICDM_CUSTOM_LOC parameter is set to Y in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance. When this pop-list is set to Default Location, then the item's default location is the default when disassembling the items. When this pop-list is set to Custom Rule, then user defined rules set up in the user's custom procuser file are used to determine the default disassembly location. |
New program used as a worksheet to aid in execution of disassembly and gather exceptions for location and quantity. Disassembly transaction must be open to be printed on this report. |

New program used to make location adjustments. When in Bulk Move mode, the program moves the entire location quantity of an item from one location to another within the same manufacturing enterprise and plant. Control number generation when moving controlled items from non-controlled locations to controlled locations is not handled in this program. Moving large quantities of serial controlled items with this program will take a long time. Only positive quantities can be moved with this program. When in Adjust/Scrap mode, select a reason code, select the items, and when you press [Commit], the positive quantities will be adjusted to 0 in the 'from location'. |
Set up item lead time groups for use in calculating the lead times for items. Lead time groups are assigned to items in the item planning programs - program ICPM, Inventory Planning Data Maintenance, and program ICRM, Item/Plant Planning Maintenance. Lead time groups allow users to set up a single lead time record for a group of items that have the same lead time. The lead time groups are then assigned to the items and by changing the lead time for the group, it reduces the maintenance for the item planning records. When a lead time group is assigned to an item planning record, the lead time group's lead time settings will override the lead time assigned to the item planning record. |

Added Effective Date field for reference only. The gross weight is used to calculate the purchase line item weight in program POEM, PO Entry/Maintenance, for the item and purchase unit of measure. The [Push to Other Plants] button is disabled if the PLANT_PROTECT parameter is set to Y in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance. For new sales unit of measure records, if the item has been assigned a product group from program IPGM, Product Group Maintenance, the Round to Nearest value will default from the ICSM Default Price Rounding field for the product group for the item. Item Weight RoundingThe item weight rounding feature allows the weight of an item to be rounded to a certain value during sales order entry and shipping. The item's weight for the sales unit of measure is obtained from this program and multiplied by the quantity ordered or shipped in sales order entry. That weight is rounded using the entered Weight Round Direction and Weight Round to Nearest value. The total sales order line weight is calculated from the entered Weight, Weight Round Direction, and Weight Round to Nearest value is displayed in this program. Weight Round DirectionThere are three round directions available in this program. Standard: The standard round direction uses the standard rounding logic. If the Weight Round to Nearest value has two digits, and the third digit in the sales order line weight is less than 5, the price will be rounded down. If the third digit is 5 or greater, the sales order line weight will be rounded up. Up: Sales order line weights are rounded up. Anything other than an even divisor of the Weight Round to Nearest value will be rounded up to the next even divisor of the value Down: Sales order line weights are rounded down. Anything other than an even divisor of the Weight Round to Nearest value will be rounded down to the next even divisor of the value. Weight Round to NearestThe value entered in this field and the Weight Round Direction are applied to the calculated sales order line weight (item weight*quantity ordered/shipped). The sales order line weight is rounded up or down to even divisors of the value entered here. For example: Round Dir Round to Nearest Line Item Wt Final Calc'd Wt Standard .01 2.259 2.26 Up .01 2.259 2.26 Down .01 2.259 2.25 Standard .25 2.259 2.25 Up .25 2.259 2.5 Down .25 2.259 2.25 Standard .75 .75001 .75 Up .75 .75001 1.50 Down .75 .75001 .75 Standard .75 .74999 .75 Up .75 .74999 .75 Down .75 .74999 .00

The register can be printed by a single specific from plant or all from plants and by a single specific to plant or all to plants. The from plant must belong to the current logged in enterprise to be chosen. A pop-list on the report parameter form allows you to choose whether or not the register will be cleared when the report has finished printing. If the pop-list is set to Y, then only the entries printed on the report will be cleared. Users logged in under the same enterprise should not run this report at the same time. |

Added ability to select reorder point items by buyer code according to the setting of the IMRC_PLANNER_BUYER parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance. When the parameter is set to BUYER, the items can be selected by buyer code. When the parameter is set to PLANNER, the items can be selected by planner code. The reorder point calculation can bypass the sales allocation amount calculation and use the allocation amounts from the item plant quantity record in program ICSS, Stock Status Inquiry, instead. This allows better performance if the complex rules for calculating the allocation are not important for the reorder point calculation. The allocation calculation is determined by the IMRC_SIMPLE_ALLOC parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance. When the parameter is set to N, the allocations are calculated from the order detail records during reorder point calculation. When the parameter is set to Y, the quantity available from the item plant quantity record is used. Note: when set to Y, the demand horizon feature cannot be used because all allocations are considered. Use of this feature reduced reorder point runtime dramatically for larger databases. Added new Stock Level to Plan for option. If ICEM Target Stock Quantity is chosen, then the available quantity for the item must be below the item's reorder point quantity for the program to recommend that the item be reordered. The recommended order quantity will be calculated so that the inventory level will be either the reorder point or the item's target stock quantity in program ICEM, Item Plant Maintenance, whichever is higher. New IMRC_INCL_CONSIGNED_LOC parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance indicates whether inventory in consigned locations is included when calculating reorder point. IMRC_INCL_CONSIGNED_LOC: YES or NO. When set to YES, quantity in consigned locations will be considered when calculating reorder point. When set to NO, quantities in consigned locations will be excluded when calculating reorder point. Consigned locations have the Consigned flag set to on in program ILMM, Location Master Maintenance. New IMRC_LOG_RETAIN_DAYS parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance indicates how many days of reorder point records are stored for items processed previously by program IMRC, Re-Order Point Calculation Management. There is a new log table for reorder point. Each item that is processed by program IMRC, Re-Order Point Calculation Management, is written to the log table, whether it gets planned or not. This new table contains the information used by reorder point to determine whether the item should be planned, and also whether or not it was planned. With each run, old entries for the user, manufacturing enterprise, and plant are deleted if they fall outside the number of days indicated by the IMRC_LOG_RETAIN_DAYS parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance. |

Replenishment triggers can be set up in this program so that when the inventory quantity on hand in a specific location or plant reaches a specified quantity or less, a move ticket is created to replenish the quantity in the location. Replenishment triggers consider either the plant or the location depending on the setting of the IPSM_QOH_SOURCE_PC parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance for the plant. When the IPSM_QOH_SOURCE_PC parameter is set to LOCATION (or anything other than PLANT), the replenishment triggers work as follows: A replenishment trigger is set up in this program that defines the item, from location, to location, trigger quantity, and quantity to move. When an item transaction is written to the item transaction log for the item and to location, the system checks to see if the quantity on hand in the 'to location' is less than the trigger value entered on the replenishment trigger. If the quantity is greater than the trigger value, nothing happens. If the quantity is equal to or less than the trigger value, the following occurs: The system checks this program to see if other move tickets have already been created for the item. If no move tickets have been created, a move ticket is created for the item. If move tickets have been created, and they are open, the system adds the quantity on hand in the location to the quantity of the open move tickets in this program. If the sum is greater than the replenishment trigger value, no move ticket is created. If the sum is less than or equal to the replenishment trigger value, a move ticket is created. Adjustments entered in program ICIA, Inventory Adjustments, and bulk moves entered in program ICBM, Inventory Bulk Moves, will not cause a move ticket to be generated even if the quantity in a location is reduced to be less than the trigger value on the replenishment triggers. When the IPSM_QOH_SOURCE_PC parameter is set to PLANT, the replenishment triggers work as follows. Using this parameter works best when there is only one trigger per item. A replenishment trigger is set up in this program that defines the item, from location, to location, trigger quantity, and quantity to move. When an item transaction is written to the item transaction log for the item and to location, the system checks to see if the quantity on hand in the plant is less than the sum of all trigger values entered on all replenishment triggers for the item in this plant. If the quantity on hand is greater than the sum of all of the trigger values, nothing happens. If the quantity on hand is less than the sum of all of the trigger values, the following occurs: The system checks this program to see if other move tickets have already been created for the item. If no move tickets have been created, a move ticket is created for the item based on the first replenishment trigger found for the item in the plant. If move tickets have been created, and they are open, the system adds the quantity on hand in the plant to the quantity of the open move tickets in this program. If the sum is greater than the sum of all replenishment trigger values, no move ticket is created. If the sum is less than or equal to the sum of all replenishment trigger values, a move ticket is created. Adjustments entered in program ICIA, Inventory Adjustments, and bulk moves entered in program ICBM, Inventory Bulk Moves, will not cause a move ticket to be generated even if the quantity in a location is reduced to be less than the trigger value on the replenishment triggers. Added ability to transfer between manufacturing enterprises. From ME and To ME fields are not able to be changed. |
