Program ILUM, Manufacturing Enterprise Maintenance, is used to add manufacturing enterprise codes and maintain their descriptions. These codes are used in programs throughout the manufacturing module.
Manufacturing enterprises are used to group plants for planning purposes.
* Planning parameters can be set for an item at the manufacturing enterprise level with optional local overrides for individual plants.
* In master production scheduling (MPS), demand can be included from multiple plant codes within a manufacturing enterprise to the required manufacturing plant. This is done by making planned orders in other plants into demand in the manufacturing plant.
You cannot delete manufacturing enterprise codes once they have been added.
1. Enter a code for the manufacturing enterprise. This will be the code by which the system recognizes the enterprise. The code must be numeric.
2. Enter the manufacturing enterprise description.
3. Press [Commit]. The manufacturing enterprise has been added to the system.
1. Only the description of the manufacturing enterprise can be changed. Delete the old description and enter a new description.
2. Press [Commit].
