Program GLHB, Balance Sheet Analyzer, is used to calculate the ratios for the formulas in program GLHM, Balance Sheet Analyzer Maintenance.
Numerators and denominators must be defined for all code for all enterprises for which calculations will be made. Only the numerators and denominators for the current enterprise will be used.
1. In the Year field, enter the desired year.
2. In the Period field, enter the desired period.
3. All codes that have been previously processed for a year and period are displayed in the middle of the screen.
4. If you wish to overwrite a previous record with the year and period entered at the top of the screen. Se the Copy flag to on for that record.
* To select all codes to be copied, press the [Select All]
button.
* To deselect all codes before the Calculate button has been pressed, press the [Deselect All]
button. As long as the ratio has not been recalculated for the new value, the year and period will be restored.
5. If you wish to save the previous period's calculation for a code, press [New Record] while in the Code field. Enter the desired code, enterprise, year, and period for which you are calculating the ratios.
6. To calculate only the selected ratio for the record that is currently selected (blue in color) press the [Calculate] button.
7. To calculate the ratios for all codes, press the [Calculate All] button.
8. The ratio and its trends appear to the right. Ratios are displayed for the currently selected code. The currently selected code is blue in color.
Calculate the ratio for the selected ratio type for the chosen year and period.
Calculate the ratio for the all ratio types for their entered year and period.
Press this button to deselect all codes. As long as the ratio has not been recalculated for the new value, the year and period will be restored.
Press this button to select all codes to have the year and period copied from those entered at the top of the screen..
