Program GLAT, General Ledger Account Type Maintenance, is used to enter and maintain general ledger account types.
Account types are user-defined and can be assigned to general ledger accounts in program GLTM, Account Maintenance, on the Account Detail screen. Account types can be used to generate custom reports with report writers such as Oracle Discoverer 2000.
Use program GLTL, GL Account Type Listing, to print a listing of the account types from this program.
1. Enter the account type.
2. Enter the account type description.
3. Press [Commit].
4. Add account types to accounts in program GLTM, Account Maintenance, on the Account Detail screen.
