CMRO - Customer Contract Release

See Also Programs

Program CMRO, Customer Contract Release, is used to create sales orders and production orders for the contracts entered in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance.

Program CMRO, Customer Contract Release, accesses the release information entered in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance, and displays the contract number, item numbers, forecast information, releases, sales orders, and productions orders. The program begins in Query mode.

In order to create a sales or production order, you must have released forecasts in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance. You must enter a customer item number, a Unique ID, and a blanket purchase order number for the item in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance.

Multiple customers can share a single contract, but once a contract has been shared, it can not be released with program CMRO, Customer Contract Release. The contract price will still be used in order entry for all customers who share the contract.

If the contract that is being released has product sales representatives assigned to the contract lines in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance, the sales representatives will be copied to the released orders. If the contract has sales representatives assigned to the contract header in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance, the sales representatives will not be copied from the header to the released orders.
