Program CMPV, Price Verification, is used to inquire into the customer and item price relationships. This program finds the prices for items for which the customer is eligible and displays the prices that will be used for that customer during sales order entry.
Program CMPV, Price Verification, also looks into inventory programs to find the stock status, available to promise stock, and unit of measure conversions for the item.
The user can enter multiple price searches while in the program and use the scroll bar to scroll between them. These searches will be cleared when the user next enters the program.
1. In the Customer field, enter the customer number. Customer comments are viewable, but not editable in this program..
2. In the Item field, enter the item number.
The list of values in this field is defined in program UTLV, LOV Configuration, for the CMPV_ITEM List of Values ID.
If the item entered here exists on an open or incomplete sales order or quotation, a warning may be displayed, based on the setting of the WARN_ITEM_ON_QUOTE parameter in program MURM, Initialization Parameter Maintenance.
Item comments are viewable, but are not editable in this program.
3. In the Additional Pricing Parameters section, in the Sales UM field, enter the sales unit of measure.
When multiple sales units of measure are available, the Sales UM is displayed in green.
4. In the Quantity field, enter the quantity for which you are verifying the price.
5. If a contract exists for this customer and item, in the Contr ID field, enter the contract's unique ID.
6. In the Catalog field, enter the catalog ID for which you are verifying the price.
7. In the Ship To Cd field, enter the ship to code for which you are verifying the price. Price contracts can be restricted by ship to code in program CMCP, Customer Contract Maintenance.
8. Press the [Get Price] button.
The contract pricing and price matrix pricing is displayed in the labeled sections.
In the Pricing Results section, the program displays the price that sales order entry will use for the entered item, should the customer order it.
9. The item and quantity can be changed in the Quick Price section as desired, and the prices will be recalculated by the system for the new information.
10. Additional modifications can be made to the margin and discounts settings to determine pricing. After making any of these changes, press the [Clear] button or [Set Defaults] button to revert the settings back to their defaults.
In the Pricing Results section, in the User Disc % off of List Price field or the User Disc % off of Unit Price field, manually enter the desired discount and press the [Get Price] button to obtain the price for that discount.
In the Pricing Results section, press the [More Pricing Information] button. In the Flat Discount field, manually enter the flat discount and press the [Get Price] button to obtain the extended price with that discount.
In the Additional Pricing Parameters section, in the Req Margin field, for margin priced customers, manually enter the desired margin and press the [Get Price] button to obtain the price for that margin.
11. To created additional pricing verification records, in the Quick Price section, press [New Record].
Press this button to view the available to promise information for the selected item.
Deletes the current record.
Press this button to receive the pricing information for the entered customer and item.
Press this button to view additional information about this item, including status, tax information, and product matrix information.
Press this button to view and maintain additional pricing information that affects the Ext Price displayed here.
Press this button to view the price matrix information for this customer and item.
Press this button to keep the Quick Price information and reset the rest of the information in the program to their default values.
Press this button to view the stock availability of the selected item.
Press this button to view the unit of measure conversions for stock and sales for the selected item.
