Setup Wizard

The Setup Wizard is used to enter the initial system defaults during the installation process, and to enter and change program parameters and defaults. The wizard will guide the implementer in basic setup tasks, and guide the user in unusual but routine maintenance of system parameters and defaults.
 

The features in this module include:

  • Access to the setup wizard through drill down from some parameter entry and maintenance programs
  • Simple navigation
  • Full instructions and field definitions are displayed during use
  • The wizard can be used to enter default parameters including the following:
    • Accounts receivable
    • Location maintenance
    • System parameters
    • Inventory management parameters
    • Purchasing and receiving
    • End of month updates
    • Plant parameters
