Showcase: Pumped up Pricing Verification with program CMPV
We've beefed up our program CMPV, Price Verification. Now, verifying prices for customers and items is clearer and easier than ever with the following features:
- Quick Price: Enter the customer and item and press the Get Price button. The customer's pricing information is displayed quickly and easily without the entry of additional information.
- Pricing by Group: Enter the customer price group or the item price group instead to see the pricing for a specific group.
- More Parameters: Get more specific pricing by adding quantities, catalogs, contracts, plants, purchase orders, ship to codes, and more to the search.
- Multiple Searches: Do multiple searches in the same session and scroll through them to see the differences in prices with the differences in parameters.
- Additional Information: Not only can you see pricing information in this program, but also additional item information such as available-to-promise, stock status, and surcharge information.

Quickly Converting Component Quantity Per
You're entering your components on your bill of material and you know how many feet,
inches, and 16ths of an inch make up the component requirement, but now you have to
convert that into a decimal value. What a pain! You search around or pull out your cell
phone to find a calculator and then start typing in values.
It doesn't have to be this hard. We've added a composite value calculator in program
BMMM, Bill of Material Maintenance. Once you're in the quantity per field, just double
click to open the Composite Value calculator. Enter in the quantity per in combined feet,
inches, and 16ths of an inch. When you press return, the value is converted to a
decimal value and is returned to the quantity per field for the component. It couldn't be
easier.
