Executive Team
Don Voelkert: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr. Voelkert became the Chief Executive Officer for NDS Systems in 1998. He has also served on the board of directors for the Company since 1986.
As CEO, Mr. Voelkert has overall responsibility for NDS Systems and works closely with members of the executive team to manage and grow the Company.
Mr. Voelkert has held senior executive positions with a number of manufacturing and distribution companies since 1977. Prior to running NDS Systems, he served as Chairman and CEO for Bytec Inc., a tier one manufacturer of OEM components for the automotive industry.
Jennifer Ballard: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Jennifer Ballard is the CFO of NDS Systems. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the company’s day-to-day financial operations, supervising all customer projects, purchasing, billing, human resources and payroll. She also manages the Professional Services and Support departments at NDS.
Ms. Ballard has been with NDS since 1995, when she started out as a bookkeeper. She worked her way up the ranks and was named CFO in January 2009. Ms. Ballard brings to NDS over 20 years experience in working with small to mid-size manufacturers and distributors.
Ms. Ballard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of South Florida and Kennedy-Western University and resides in St. Petersburg, FL.
Graham Jones: VP of Technology
Mr. Jones has been an IT Industry professional since 1967. He has been the primary architect and project manager of large and small software applications for a variety of companies ranging from small private concerns to very large public corporations, such as NCR and Cummins Engine. He is also the vision behind the architecture and development of the Cync Software Suite, using state-of-the-art techniques to develop a business application for the 21st century.
He has held the title of VP of Technology with NDS Systems since 1995.
Kenneth M. Bires, VP of Client Services
Mr. Bires serves as the Subject Matter Expert for the Cync Software Suite, targeting the Asset- Based lending industry and secondary markets. He has extensive involvement with private equity firms, managing start-up businesses and turn-around situations and acquisitions.
Mr. Bires has over 30 years of accounting and finance experience including 15+ years at a C- level leading teams in developing company environments. He has negotiated, implemented and managed numerous asset-based lending arrangements in his executive positions in middle market companies. As a Sr. Tax Manager and CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co., Mr. Bires concentrated on International Business, Banking and Owner-managed enterprises. He focuses on working closely with the Cync Software client base, ensuring the products are utilized most effectively within each client environment.
Mr. Bires has an MBA in Finance from Wharton Graduate and a BS in Mathematics with Honors from Xavier University.
Michael E. Taylor, Sales Engineering Director
Mr. Taylor serves as the Sales Engineering Director for NDS Systems. His experience in the manufacturing and distribution industries spans the better part of four decades. Mr. Taylor has spent the last 12 years in manufacturing, and has been providing software consulting to manufacturing and distribution companies for the last 10 years.
In his current capacity with NDS, Mr. Taylor is responsible for working with the borrowers and lenders on how to use Cync.
He possesses a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida, and has been working for NDS Systems for the last 9 years.
