Custom Functions That Save Time & Money: Procuser Routines
Procuser routines are simple yet powerful ways to set up custom transactions in the NDS ERP system.
A procuser routine is essentially a series of callouts from the standard code that can occur before, during or after any particular transaction. What makes procuser routines unique is that they are isolated from the standard code. Based on user-defined specifications from the customer, NDS can identify and create those custom procuser routines.
Some of the many areas where procuser routines are utilized include shipping, inventory, sales order line activity and picking rules.
Another great benefit of using procuser routines is that it saves the customer time and money typically associated with an upgrade. These customizations are isolated and are easy to locate and evaluate for changes, thereby eliminating the need to search the entire codeset for possible custom changes.
