About Us: Corporate History of NDS Systems

At NDS Systems, we understand that the ERP software market is in a state of constant flux.  These ever changing market conditions present a unique set of challenges for any ERP vendor.  That’s why we’re always adding new functionality and features to our flagship product, the NDS ERP Oracle solution,  so that we may better serve you, the customer.

Since 1985, NDS Systems has been setting the standard for enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. The NDS ERP Oracle software application began as a client-server suite specifically designed for small to mid-sized companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries.  

Evolution of the NDS ERP Oracle solution continued through the 1990’s. NDS Systems recognized the emergence of the World Wide Web, and responded by completely re-engineering the NDS ERP Oracle solution. Enhancements included upgrading to a multi-tier architecture with totally integrated business logic. These changes enabled our clients to run their business via a web-based application, a big change at the time.

It was also around this time that NDS Systems recognized the fulfillment and service industries as markets where the NDS ERP Oracle solution would fill a viable need. We have since continued to service clients in those areas. Click here to view our testimonials.  

In 2002 we introduced Xephr, a robust data integration tool designed to provide dashboard capability for the NDS ERP Oracle application, or any other data source. Xephr enables organizations to gather information for all of their specific business operation processes, and make that data usable from a single point of entry. In May of 2009 NDS Systems announced a partnership with Virginia-based consulting firm Idexcel (www.idexcel.com). By combining strengths, NDS and Idexcel seek to help NDS customers improve their operational efficiencies and lower costs with their expanded set of services.
